We had a great experience as part of the National Startup Awards in 2022. The process, especially the pitching of our business to the judges, really helped us solidify the strengths of the value proposition of our Equine MediRecord equine welfare platform. Winning the award for Ireland’s Best Tech Startup in 2022 and the exposure we attained drove discussions with potential clients not only in Ireland but internationally as well.

Since winning the award, our company has gained significant international traction. To name just a few of the highlights of the past six months, we secured the right to work with the US federal agency for horse racing, Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority, and partnered with 1st Racing, the largest owner and operator of racetracks in North America, to have our system used at the Pegasus World Cup and American Classic Preakness Stakes in 2023.

We also partnered with the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia and deployed an Arabic version of our system to help ensure compliance with equine welfare protocols for all the horses that competed at the Saudi Cup festival in February 2023. Finally, we also won our first contract with the British Horseracing Authority to have our platform used for the enhanced protocols around the Grand National in the United Kingdom.
